Description

And we have our skill chart done! This is a piece of the adolescent stage requirements, but is fairly simple to fill out. You can use the stats or not, the choice is yours. The skills will mostly be used in the upcoming Safari, so stay tuned! If you don't fill this out, however, you can Explore, but you cannot use the Safari.

The top is for a headshot of the drak in question. Next to it, please state their name and species (ie...plantdrak, earthdrak, firedrak, etc). Make sure to have a link to their original bio in the description!

The Download button will give you the psd file. Do not mess with the design of anything. Headshot box is for your drak's profile, and the paw colors are your choice. If you cannot use psd files, feel free to simply right-click the image above and save it that way. I think its fairly Paint-friendly, you can easily just paste your drak's image over the words.

Every drak has 4 stats:

Stamina - how much health the drak has
Strength - how hard a drak hits
Agility - dodging hits
Smarts - outsmarts agile creatures

Each paw is worth 1 stat point, so you can fill in 1 of each to start with. Every skill/stat caps at 20, so there is no point in going higher. According to our Stat Graph, everyone starts with 1 skill in each area. Each drakkari TYPE has a bonus to a specific skill, which would up your starting skill points. The secondary numbers in the graph are what you would use to fill out this Cecatl Chart.

Plant: +2 agility
Earth: +2 stamina
Fire: +2 strength
Water: +2 stamina
Lightning: +2 agility
Air: +2 agility
Ice: +2 smarts
Dark: +2 strength
Light: +2 smarts

There are varying ways to up your drak's skills. We will have contests with stat gains as rewards, as well as the special Training Scrolls that permanently up a skill of your choice.(For a full list of Scrolls, head to CecatlShop.)

If you have any questions on this, feel free to ask. If anything is not consistent, screwed up or in any other way unclear, please let us know!

Full break down from the Journal:

If you’re still readingthen you’re probably looking for more detail on how the stats are designed and how they work. So here’s all the detail you need… hopefully.

Each drak has 4 stats, these stats are  Stamina which is health, Strength is how hard they hit, Agility is a drak's ability to dodge, and smarts is how likely they are to hit.

So how do these stats work in correlation to one another?

~*~
Stamina
The more stamina a creature has the longer it can last.

Strength
How much damage the creature can cause, each hit causes the opponents creature to lose stamina.

Agility
If a creatures Agility stat is greater than its opponents Smarts, then it will have a chance to dodge. Also the drak with the higher agility goes first.

Smarts
If a creatures Smarts is greater than its opponents Agility, then the attack will land. Should both agility and smarts be the same, then the damage is halved but the attack lands
~*~

So how do we calculate the stats. The stats themselves are based on the stat level and a secondary number, which is what is used to calculate the actual amounts.

1 Stamina = 50 Health [100 is the starting health of any drak, every 1 stamina afterwards gives 50 Health]
1 Strength = 10 Damage (Every 1 Strength gains 10 damage)
1 Agility = 5 dodge (every 1 Agility gains 5 dodge)
1 Smarts = 5 Hit (Every 1 Smarts gains 5 hit)

So a drak with 1 in all stats, would have 100 health and deal 10 damage.

A draks agility and smarts affects it ability to hit and dodge. If both stats are equal, then the attack lands, but only half of the damage is dealt. If Smarts is greater than agility then there the attack will land, if agility is greater than smarts then there is a 50% chance of dodging the attack.

So now we know how they work, what makes each drak unique in its stats?

At their most basic level, all drak's are the same, so at level 1 when they are just born, they will have identical stats.
Stamina – 1
Strength – 1
Agility – 1
Smarts – 1

The first of the bonuses taken into effect is the drakkari sub breeds. Each sub-breed has these bonuses, so you'd end up with 1,1,1,3 (not in order).

Plant = +2 Smarts
Earth = +2 Stamina
Fire = +2 Strength
Water = +2 Stamina
Lightning = +2 Agility
Air = +2 Agility
Ice = +2 Smarts
Dark = +2 Strength
Spark = +2 Smarts

Simple so far huh. Now for the more serious stuff. After the breed bonuses the next thing to take into account is the levels. As you’ll have noticed, each drak has its own level, and these affect the stat points, though these are placed by the drak's owner.

Levels 2 – 5 = Each time your drak gains a level, they can gain 1 stat, which can be placed on the stat of your choosing. (4 Points in total)

Levels 6 – 10 = Between these levels, the drak gains + 2 stat points, which again can be placed on the stats of your choosing. (10 Points in total)

From level 11 onwards, your drak gains +3 stats per level, which again can be placed on the stat of your choosing.

Now for the last tweaks.

Adult drak’s, have a 50/50 chance of attacking twice, dodge rate works by draks agility and smarts

Elder – When your drak's reached elder, they automatically gain +1 stat across the board

Elder drak's will always attack twice, the dodge rate depends on draks smarts and agility

Each individual familiar also gives drak's a boost in one of their stats, each boost is specific to the familiar attached.

Scrolls can be bought to increase a drak's stats, certainly useful for younger drak's.

Certain Accessories can improve a draks stats while it is attached.

Whichever drak had the higher Agility goes first, if both are the same, then a coin is flipped.

Eventually we will be introducing training and contests that will have stat boosts as rewards.

Hybrids stats are worked out by mixing the parents base stats.

So a vine drak would have:
Stamina: 2 {Earth draks possess 2 points, so one goes here}
Strength: 1
Agility: 1
Smarts: 2 {Plant draks possess 2 points, so one goes here]
